Lucknow University administration has issued an advisory to its students to not to roam inside the premises of the university on Valentine's Day (14.2.2018). The advisory also added that disciplinary action will be taken against whosoever is found violating the advisory.

The university on Tuesday issued an advisory for students ahead of Valentine's Day, directing them to bring no outsiders to campus, exchange no gifts, only attend classes and head straight home.

As per the advisory, students found without an identity card or fee receipt as proof will not be allowed to enter the campus, say officials.

Boys have been warned strictly against passing remarks or luring girls with presents. If caught doing so, stringent action will be taken.

A class 1 student was stabbed with a sharp weapon by a  senior student at Lucknow’s Brightland School on Tuesday , Uttar Pradesh Police said on Wednesday. The incident was similar to murder of class 2 student in Gurgaon's Ryan International School last year.

The parents of the injured student lodged a complaint with the local police.

Police said, teachers found the class one student lying unconscious in pool of blood with hands tied in a school toilet around 10 am on Tuesday.

The boy was rushed to a local hospital for immediate medical attention. The boy is admitted in trauma centre of the hospital.

According to police, a class seven student is involved in the brutal attack. The minor has suffered stab injuries in stomach and chest.

Family members of the injured student claim that the school officials informed them about the attack on their ward very late.

However, Principal of the school Rina Manas claimed that on finding the student brutally injured she rushed him immediately to hospital.

“I also informed Lucknow Police about the incident after admitting the child in the trauma centre,” said Manas.

The Uttar Pradesh police investigating in the Brightland School knifing incident, where Class 1 student stabbed by class 7th girl, the brutal incident brought back the memory of Gurgaon’s Ryan International School murder.

The police probing line suggested the the crime was carried out under influence of the deadly mobile game — ‘Blue Whale Challenge.’

A senior police officer said, “We are investigating the case in all angles. Some school officials had raised a concern that the girl might be playing the deadly game which led to the incident.”

The ‘Blue Whale Challenge’ has become a point of investigation for the police as the game provokes its players especially minors to carry out deadly acts including murder and suicide.

Uttar Pradesh Police earlier in the day arrested Principal of Brightland School for allegedly hiding the knife attack on a class 1 student by a senior student for at least a day.

An officer of Lucknow Police said, “We have arrested Rina Manas, principal of the school.”

Shia Waqf Board Chairman Wasim Rizvi  had received a threat call from a man, claiming to be an aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar, who threatened to kill him and his family.

Rizvi filed complaint, the Lucknow police has lodged an FIR and initiated a probe.

"I received the call last night in which caller took the name of Dawood and threatened to blow me up and my family for my stand on madrassa education and other issues," Rizvi Said.

The caller refused to identify himself but asked me to seek apology from 'Maulanas' (Muslim clericals) claiming Dawood Ibrahim was annoyed, Rizvi said.

The Shia Waqf Board chairman said that he had informed the police and also given the caller's phone number with audio clip which was recorded during call.

Rizvi had last week written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath suggesting that madrassas should be shut down as the Islamic institutions bred terrorists.

In October, Rizvi had met the Art of Living founder in Bengaluru and apprised him of the Shia Board's stand that a Ram temple should be built at the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was that time holding mediation talks on the Ayodhya issue.

Rizvi has also supported the BJP government on the Triple Talaq issue.
