CM Vasundhara Raje to inaugurate Jaipur Metro today

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will be  inaugurating metro services in Jaipur today.

The CM will flag off the metro service at 11AM after which it will be thrown open to the public from 2 PM onwards.

Jaipur Metro will start with its operation from all of its nine stations after the opening ceremony at the Mansarover station.

There are a total of 10 four-coach trains. They will be making 131 trips each day.

The Metro operations will begin from 6.45 AM and will continue till 9 PM.

The fare for the 9-km stretch is slated to be in slabs of Rs 5, Rs 10 and Rs 15.

The frequency is scheduled to be 10 minutes in peak hours and 15 minutes in off-peak hours.

The 9.63-km elevated section of the metro connects the city’s residential area Mansarovar to business hub in Chandpole.

It was built in nearly four-and-a-half-years.

Also, E-rickshaws and vans will be available as feeder services at all the nine stations of Jaipur Metro to provide transportation facilities to its passengers in the city.
