It was just yesterday when we read about the US President D. Trump's statement about India's unfair and unacceptable high teriff rates imposed on american products. We also got to know about Trump planning to hold bilateral meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discuss a few important issues besides asking him to withdraw teriff rates in Osaka, Japan. The two world-class leaders are currently in Osaka to attend two day long annual G-20 summit.

Both the leaders met on Thursday shortly after Trump arrived in Osaka and discussed various issues including 5G, trade, defence ties besides teriff rates imposed by India. Trump also congratulated Modi over his recent victory in the Lok Sabha elections and said Modi deserved it. He said that Modi and him are good friends and their nations would in future be definitely working together in various fields including Military. The two leaders also discussed the ever increasing tensions between Iran and US. Both Modi and Trump also held meeting with Japan together and discussed various concerned issues too.
