Chandigarh:  Pakistan PTI chief and to be Prime Minister of Pakistan had invited Former cricketer and Cabinet Minister Navjot singh Sidhu, the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev and Sunil Gawsakar to attend his Oath ceremony, going to be held on 18 of August.

According to the sources, Sidhu confirmed the news that surely, he will be going to attend the oath ceremony.

Navjoot Singh sidhu said “My office has intimated the offices of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh. Secretary (Protocol) Kripa Shanker has been forwarded the formal invite from the office of the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) party".

Javed Khan, Additional Information Secretary of PTI, tweeted "Cricket legends from India and Kaptaan's old friends Kapil Dev, Sidhu and Sunil Gavaskar have been invited to attend Oath Taking Ceremony of Pakistan's PM Imran Khan".

Najot Sidhu cleared that he got the invitation because of his parsonal capacity. Kapil dev had also confirmed that he will be present in the oath ceremony, but Sunil Gawaskar declines to attend the oath ceremony.

According to the sources, Former captain of Indian Cricket team Sunil Gawaskar said that he had spoken to Imran khan and wished him all the luck, before the latter takes over as Prime Miniter.

Gawaskar told that because of the test match in England on 18th, he will not be able to attend the oath ceremony. As Gawaskar have to be present at the match.
