Switzerland: Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains the talk of the town at the snow-covered Swiss resort town of Davos, where four-day annual mega event of the world's rich and powerful personalities, taking place. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the opening keynote, address at the plenary session on Tuesday morning at the World Economic Forum annual meeting. He will also interact with 120 members of the International Business Council on Tuesday, which is a part of the WEF.

PM Modi’s speech is scheduled for 11 am in Davos or 3:30pm India time.

PM Modi is also scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Sweden Prime Minister Stefan Lofven on Tuesday evening.

On Monday, PM Modi held a roundtable meeting with the CEOs of top global companies. He was accompanied by top government officials including Vijay Gokhale, secretary of External Affairs Ministry Jai Shankar  and Ramesh Abhishek. Under the tagline of “India means business”.

 India also got a thumbs up from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Monday, which reaffirmed that India's economy is projected to grow by 7.4 percent in the next fiscal year.

The theme for this year's summit is 'Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World'. Donald Trump will close it on Friday.

Indian hospitality will be at its charming best during the WEF summit.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was one of three celebrities awarded on Monday night by the WEF for their humanitarian work, along with singer Elton John and actress Cate Blanchett.
