Egypt: At least 235 worshippers were killed and 109 injured when full of bomb and weapons terrorist attacked with explosives at al-Rowda mosque in Al-Arish city and fired bullets on people attending Friday's prayer. This attack is the deadliest terrorist attack in Egypt's history, this barbariac attack condemned by Egypt officials commented officials. President Abdel Fattah el- Sisi had organised an emergency meeting with officials to look on the security situation. 


 On saturday the Egyptian air force have knocked off several militants and destroyed their vehicles. This vigorous attack was taken by egypt air force hours after the millitants gun fired 230 worshippers at a mosque in the country’s restive North Sinai region.


There was a horrific scene as bodies were scattered on the ground outside the mosque in the pool of blood.  The injured were screaming and running all around. "There is so much of blood, noise of bullets and explosives".  "Every one is so scared and searching there family memebers. I hope God punishes them for this described by Ibrahim Sheteewi, a resident of Bir al-Abed, the small north Sinai town where the attack took place".

World leaders quickly condemned this shamefull attack as President Trump described it as horrible and cowardly. He said later that it explained why the United States needed a border wall with Mexico and restrictions referred to as "Ban" on immigration.


Earlier the security force said the army launched “immediate and wide” ground and air attacks and two drones destroyed two vehicles belonging to militants in Al-Resha village near el-Rouda village. President Abdel Fattah el- Sisi responded with brutal force in power to take action  against militants. He said that this heinous  activity would not be passed by without a decisive punishment.This cruel action needs to be answered with serious action the militants.


The Egypt government has announced three days of mourning.

 US President Donald Trump said the international community cannot tolerate  this barbaric terrorist  groups as he called the Egyptian president Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to offer condolences after militants killed over 200 people in Egypt’s North Sinai region.


During the phone call Trump showed the anger against such attack and offer them that the United States will continue to stand with Egypt and help him inorder to work against terrorism.


Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, in a statement said  he was shocked and horrified by the terrorist attack. On behalf of all Canadians, Sophie and I offer our deepest condolences to the friends and families of the victims of today’s attack. He said we hope for a complete and rapid recovery for all those injured. Mr. Trudeau said this is a senseless attack targeting people praying at their place of worship; a place where they should have felt safe and secure. Militants might be aware of that mosque is the place where people will gather in much crowd; so it will be easy for them to operate such a brutall  attack.


Mr. Trudeau said Canada will continue to work closely on the steps to end terrorism and the international community to control the violent extremism that leads to such vigorous acts.He further added that we must stand against these acts of terrorism and hatered by promoting the values of diversity, inclusion, and peace.


The UN Security Council, while condemning this heinous and cowardly terrorist attack in a statement highlited the need to bring perpetrators, organisers, financiers and sponsors of these dishonorable acts of terrorism to justice. they urged to all states to cooperate actively, help the needy and provide full support and security to the government of Egypt and all other relevant authorities in this regard.

wherever, whenever and by whomsoever any such kind of act of terrorism are committed than it is criminal, unbearable, unjustifiable and unacceptable the Security Council said.


The UN Secretary General also condemned the terrorist attack. The Secretary General extends his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Egypt and wishes them a soft and fast recovery to those who have been injured.


The murder of innocent people in the middle of the ongoing prayer is especially cruel and devastating form of terror. Militants opened fire on the worshippers. The devotees are fleeing from the blasts here and there. The medical facilities are tried to be make available on time, security personell are arrived with the gun fire on the location.


This criminal act was operated within a sacred place of worship where people of faith seek peace and comfort and share the values of compassion and tolerance commented High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC).


On knowing the news of the terror attack on the Sufi mosque in Egypt is deeply saddening  to the Democratic Leader, Nancy Pelosi. He said "murdering hundreds of worshippers at prayer is a vile act of brutality”. We are horrified by these terrorists assault on people simply gathering in community to offer prayer with full faith and purity. Our hearts prays and wellwishes for all those families who have lost their loved ones and for all those who are wounded.

“We must be strong and smart to defeat terror and Americans stand in solidarity with the Egyptian people in this terrible time,” Ms. Pelosi said.
