The young and beautiful actress turned politician, Nusrat Jahan had been the talk of the town for quite some time now. The young politician had been into the lime lights right from the day when she won the Lok Sabha election from TMC seat this year post which she again took over gossips by getting married.Jahan had also been discussed widely when she bowed down to touch the feet of a senior political leader in the lok sabha recently.

After her wedding when Nusrat came back in Delhi to take oath, she was badly trolled across all social media platforms and by muslim crictics for wearing a saree and mangalsutra during her oath taking ceremony and at the Rath Yatra program arranged by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness in Kolkata despite being a non-hindu.

Nusrat shared her opinion about this troll to the reporters during the rath yatra. She said, I know my religion. I am a Muslim by birth and I am still a Muslim. It is about faith. You have to feel it inside your heart and not in your head...I think we all should come together hand-in-hand and move towards a better tomorrow."
