As Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to launch the 'BJP membership drive from Varanasi on July 6, Saturday, in a meeting with his party's MPs, he said that anybody bringing bad name to the organisation with his bad conduct would be unacceptable. Modi's statement about the bad conduct of the party member came after the wake after the arrest of the senior party leader Kailash Vijayvargia's MLA son Akash.

Akash had been taken behind the bars for beating a governemnt official with a cricket bat. Modi in his statement said that "Whoever it may be, whoever's son he may be arrogance, misbehaviour cannot be tolerated." Discussing about the BJP membership drive from Varanasi, Modi also told his workers to plant atleast 5 trees in every booth of the country, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi told the reporters. In this meeting, Modi was fecilitated by other senior party leaders including party chief Amit Shah, working chief JP Nadda and others.
