New Delhi: The Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vjpayee died at the  93. He ruled the country for 13 days in 1996, 13 months in 1998 and for almost six years from 1999.

Sources revealed that Atal Bihari Vajpayee, 93, the former Prime Minister of India, passed away at 5.05 pm on Thursday, AIIMS announced. Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted "India grieves the demise of our beloved Atal Ji".

93-year-old Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who retired from public life after his health turned frail, has been under the supervision of Dr Randeep Guleria, the Director of AIIMS. For over three decades said Dr Guleria, a pulmonologist, has served as personal physician to Mr Vajpayee.
