Chandauli: 10 BSF troopers went missing from Army Special Train between Bardawan and Dhanbad station on Wednesday.  All the BSF soldiers had started their journey for Jammu with 83 Bengal battalion of BSF jawans from Murshidabad in West Bengal.

According to the sources, the train haulted at Bardawan and Dhanbad stations. After departing from these stations, the soldiers were counted and it was discovered that ten were missing. The information was immediately given to the officers. When the train reached Mughalsarai station, on the instructions of the BSF commandant, the reports of missing of 10 soldiers were lodged.

According to the officials, these soldiers were supposed to go to Sambalpur from Kasimpur,  but 10 of these soldiers left the train somewhere on the way. About 5'o'clock in the morning, when it was informed that 10 soldiers traveling in the train went missing without any information.

GRP's SSI Rajesh Kumar said"the missing report has been registered. The report will be sent to the concerned GRP station from Mughal Sarai. The next action will be taken from there".
