Uttar Pradesh: In the report which may be eye opener as when 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' and many other schemes to raise and promote girls education worked out a report from  Annual Status of Education Report (Rural) exposed that girls age (11-14) never been to school in Uttar Pradesh is 9.9%.

Uttar Pradesh is 9.9% ranked first in the Country. Bihar done better at just 4.4%.

The all India figure of girls out of school in 5.2%.Uttar Pradesh gone passed Rajasthan's figure of  9.7%.

ASER is the largest annual household survey in rural India that focuses on the status of children’s schooling and basic learning. Facilitated by Pratham, the survey is carried out by volunteers from local partner organisations in almost all rural districts of India.

Uttar pradesh has only done scored some points in ASER 2016 list where children age (6-14 years) have enrolled in schools over 94.7% .

If Attendance is concerned especially in primary schools it is below 60% in UP.“Attendance is the most important factor in children’s learning. Attendance should be used as a criteria to assess if children are in school rather than enrollment,” said Rukmini Banerji of Pratham who leads the ASER effort.
