Dhoni's feedback taken positively, says Ajinkya Rahane

After India's ODI captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni's critical remarks, Ajinkya Rahane decided to take his senior's feedback in a positive way.

Dhoni had said that the batsman has "problems in rotating the strike in slow sub-continental conditions". However, Rahane was named captain in barely a week's time.

Dhoni's comment was not appreciated by many and raised a lot of eyebrows. In naming Rahane the skipper of a depleted 15-member squad to play three one-dayers and two Twenty20 games during the nine-day tour that begins July 10, national selectors gave a thumbs down to Dhoni for his comments.

Meanwhile, Rahane was stunned to be named captain after being dropped for the Bangladesh tour and focuses on being more consistent in the ODIs.

"Dhoni bhai gave me a feedback and I took it in a positive manner and I have moved on. Bangladesh tour is past for me. My aim is to be more consistent in ODIs as it's all in the mind", Rahane told media persons at the pre-departure press conference of the Indian cricket team today.
