BCCI announces Team India squad for Bangladesh tour, Virat Kohli to lead India in Test

Mumbai: Finally, veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who was sidelined for more than two years, is making comeback to India's Test Squad for the cricket tour of Bangladesh.

The Board for Cricket Control in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced Team India's Test and ODI squad for the upcoming Bangladesh tour starting from June.

While Virat Kohli will lead the team in Tests, MS Dhoni will be the Skipper in the ODIs.

In June, Team India will tour Bangladesh to play a one-off test and three ODIs. The Test match between both the countries would be played at Fatullah starting June 10.

The entire three-match ODI series will be played at Mirpur with the 1st ODI being played on June 18, 2nd ODI on June 21 and the final ODI on June 24.

Speaking to media, BCCI selector Sandeep Patil said that Harbhajan has been picked considering the fact that there are a lot of left-handers in the Bangladesh squad.

Responding to a query, Patil also said that there was no discussion done on Yuvraj Singh's name for the tour.
