London: Virat Kohli's team India came under the firing line after a disastrous second day test defeat in lord's England. After such a defeat Captain Virat Kohli came forward and asked for the support from the viewers.

According to the sources, the Indian team had faced criticism back home after losing two test and going down 2-0 in the series. In a post on his official facebook account.

The 29-year old said that his team will continue to learn from their mistakes. “Sometimes we win and other times we learn. You never give up on us and we promise to never give up on you either. Onwards and upwards,” he wrote.

Team India failed to deliver from bat in both the innings, losing the first one at Edgbaston by 39 runs and the second one at lord's by 159 runs.

The captain's dip in for led him being slipping to second position in the ICC test series after Steve Smith. Following the innings and 159 runs loss at the lords ,the skipper Virat admitted that the team combination was a bit off on the field.

The third Test starts this Saturday in Nottingham, following which the Indian team for the remaining two matches would be named.
