Kolkata: Indian off Spinner Harbhajan Singh has mocked Sri Lankan team by saying that India's  series against Sri Lanka served no purpose further than a tiring tour of South Africa, answering to the questions which have been raised regarding India's preparation for the tour, Harbjan has given his perspective.

Harbhajan told an agency on the sidelines of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, " Look, I believe the last Sri Lanka series at home served little purpose. We hardly gained anything out of it. Rather than a few  players could have gone to Sri Lanka early, If not Dharamsala could have been a great place for prepration".

Also Responding about the Ajinkya Rahane's exclusion from the first two Tests Harbhajan feels that there is no guarantee that things would have been different had Rahane played.
