Indian Cricket team unhappy with their official kit

The Indian team is not happy with the kit Nike has sponsered them with and it has also been noted down by the Board of Control for Criket in India (BCCI)

Nike has been the official supplier of Team India's kit since 2006 providing them with 43 million dollars. in 2011 they extended their deal with the team and paid 60 million dollars.

Nike's current deal lasts till 2020 as in 2015 they duly signed a contract for renewal and paid 57 million dollars for the same.

CEO Rahul Johri made it very clear that he has fixed a meeting with the Nike officials and will resolve this problem soon.

"It (Nike’s clothing) has come up for discussion in last COA meeting and chairman CoA (Vinod Rai) took it very strongly. The team cannot have sub-standard kits and we will be engaging with Nike and he has asked to put our case strongly. We have to engage with them, we will have a meeting with them (Nike) next week and try to resolve it at earliest," Johri stated
