Team India thrashed Sri Lanka by 304 runs in the first Test at the Galle International Stadium with a day to spare in the game. The Indians outplayed Rangana Herath and his boys in all the departments at Galle to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

Virat Kohli and boys taken revenge of humiliating loss at the same venue, exactly two years ago on Saturday.

In his first series after being appointed head coach, Ravi Shastri couldn’t have expected for a better start as his boys showed a lot of conviction on a Galle wicket that didn’t have much for the bowlers.
