Newly-wed Shahid-Mira reach Mumbai, reception on July 12

Mumbai: A day after their wedding, newly-wed Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor along with his wife Mira Rajput reached Mumbai on Wednesday evening. The couple was spotted leaving for their home in Mumbai. The 'Haider' star Shahid Kapoor and Delhi girl Mira Rajput tied the knot in Delhi on July 7.

The 34-year-old Shahid, clad in a white shirt, classic blue jeans and shades, was hand-in-hand with his 21-year-old bride Mira who was wearing a simple monochrome suit by Masaba and jootis.

The couple will be hosting a grand reception on July 12 in Mumbai.

Shahid's father, veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor and his step mother, actor Supriya Pathak, were also spotted at the airport.

Shahid married Mira Rajput on Tuesday ( July 7 ) in a traditional Punjabi wedding attended by close family members and friends at a farm house in Delhi.

According to the reports, the 'Jab We Met' actor Shahid and Delhi University graduate Mira will be beginning their new journey at Shahid's newly constructed house in Juhu, Mumbai. The interiors of their new sea facing house has been designed by the Mira.

Reportedly, Shahid and Mira will not be able to go on their honeymoon as the star is busy with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and his upcoming movies Shandaar and Udta Punjab.
