Ranveer Singh celebrating his 30th birthday today

Mumbai: Bollywood's recent heartthrob and the powerhouse of energy and talent, Ranveer Singh on Monday is celebrating his 30th birthday. The star who surprised his fans and the industry with his debut film "Band Baja Baarat" in 2010 has no looking back since then.

In a short time, Ranveer has given superhit films, including ‘Ram Leela’, ‘Lootera’, ‘Gunday’, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do' and many more’ which managed to collect applauds for his performance.

The star never plays the characters of a 'Perfect Man' that the Hindi film industry usually worships. He is said to have broken the stereotypes by playing the role of a unthankful man in film 'Gunday' and 'Band Baja Baarat', deceitful youth in 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl' and even treacherous in 'Lootera'.

The 'Gunday' actor is also famous for his colourful dressing sense. Also, his choice of advertisements has left Bollywood gasping for breath. His Do The Rex and Rupa frontline ads have proved that the 30-year-old actor is not taking up advertising projects just for the money.

Ranveer Singh has won many awards which includes, Star Screen Awards, Zee Awards, Stardust Awards, Filmfare Awards, Big Star Entertainment Awards and many more.

Ranveer, a graduate from Indiana University, Bloomington, returned to India to pursue his career in movies. He was born on 6 July 1985 in Mumbai to Jagjit Singh Bhavnani and Anju Bhavnani and has an elder sister named Ritika Bhavnani. Ranveer is the maternal cousin of actress Sonam Kapoor and producer Rhea Kapoor.

Still not confirmed by the couple, but there are rumours that Ranveer is dating his 'Ram Leela' co-star Deepika Padukone. The rumoured couple will soon be seen sharing screen space together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film 'Bajirao Mastani'.
