'Jab We Met' inspired Anushka to become an actor

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, in a video chat recently, said that she never wanted to become an actor, until she watched 'Jab We Met'. The movie inspired her to do acting.

When the actress was asked about any specific movie that helped her decide that she wanted to become an actor, she said, "I never wanted to be an actor. But I remember when I saw 'Jab We Met', I saw it in Bikaner. I was just so taken over by the beauty of the cinema that it makes you feel so happy, it uplifts your spirits like that. A very simple story. That's the first time I thought I can probably do this."

Talking about a character from her movie she is close to she said that she has a little bit of Shruti Kakkar from 'Band Baaja Baaraat', Jagat Janani from 'PK' and Meera from 'NH10'.

"The kind of honesty that Shruti Kakkar had, I have that. The strength that Jagat Janani had, I have that. And with Meera, the thing in her to fight, like fight back and stand up for something, I think that’s something I share personally also", the actress said.

The 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' star also said that 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi', 'Band Baaja Baaraat' and 'PK' will always be special for her.

Anushka is gearing up for the release of her forthcoming movie 'NH10' in which the actor has not just acted, but also donned the producer's hat for the first time.
