New Delhi: Padmavat producers have knocked the door of the Supreme court as after four states announced that they will not release the movie. Accepint the petition, the Supreme Court decided to hear the appeal. Chief justice Deepak Mishra and the judges AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud will consent the producers appeal on the ban of the movie Padmavat by various state governments. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed movie is scheduled to release on Jan 25. 

Padmavat has been banned in Haryana, Rajasthan,  Madhya Pradesh and Gujrat, as these states governments had claimed that the movie is depicting the wrong image of 

Rajput Queen Padmavati. Yesterday Allahabad High Court also issued the Contempt Of Court notice to Central Board of Film Certification Chairperson Prasoon Joshi in connection with a petition against Padmavat.
