UP Police detained five minors in connection to the attack on Swiss couple in Agra that left them with broken bones.

Senior superintendent of police (Agra) Amit Pathak said, "All the detained seem to be minors. During questioning they have accepted to their crime. One is absconding, who probably is also a minor.”

The SSP added that raids are being carried out to detain the absconding.

They have been charged under the Indian Penal Code sections 323 — causing voluntarily hurt and 325 — causing grievous hurt.

The couple is going through a medical treatment in a hospital in Delhi. The doctors of the hospital told the media that the duo injured have suffered grievous injuries but are recovering
