Gangster Dawood's auctioned car to be burnt publicly today

Hindu Mahasabha president, Swami Chakrapani, who bid for underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's car at an auction in Mumbai earlier this month, will be burning it publicly in Ghaziabad today.

Dawood's Hyundai Accent car (MH-04-AX-3676) was sold to Chakrapani for a mere Rs 32,000 at the auction held on December 9.

"Our organisation has decided to burn the car publicly at Indirapuram in Ghaziabad between 1 pm and 2 pm. Burning the car would be symbolic of conducting the last rites of the terrorism that Dawood and his henchmen spread in the country, especially in Mumbai", the right-wing Hindu leader said.

The car which is in terrible condition has been transported to Delhi from Mumbai a few days ago.

Chakrapani received threat calls after the car was sold to him following which he filed a complaint with Mandir Marg police station in Delhi.
