Swine flu has knocked down as the cold continues in Ghaziabad. Health department also got alert due to swine flu patients. 10 patients swine flu tests were performed in Ghaziabad. Of these, 4 reports were normal. Swine flu has been confirmed in 2 patients. The remaining 4 patients report is yet to come. Treatment of swine flu patients is going on in the hospital. However, the health department is refusing to declare the death of someone with swine flu. CMO Dr. N.K. Gupta has issued instructions to all government hospitals in the district on Friday night. For the patients of Swine Flu at MMG and Combined Hospital in the district, 10 beds have been made in MSG Hospital, 10-bed district joint hospital and 5-5 beds have been provided in health centers.

The under construction building in Mishal Garhi in Dasna in Ghaziabad, many feared trapped. The labourers were working at the construction site when the incident took place.

Rescue operations are currently underway. A team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has also been called in for rescue and relief operations.

It was a five-storeyed building which was nearing completion. No one was living in this building yet.

Initial assessment by the authorities ssuggests that rain might have been the reason for the collapse of the building as the foundation might have been weak. However, officials said they could only confirm the reason of the mishap after a probe.

The incident comes on a day when authorities in Greater Noida ordered a building in Shah Beri village to be vacated after a crack developed on one of the pillars.

Officials are on their toes since earlier this week when a six-floor under-construction building crashed on a five-storeyed building in Shahberi village under Bisrakh police station. At least 10 people were killed in the building collapse. Use of poor quality building construction material and violation of safety norms were believed to be the main reasons behind the mishap.

A 28-year-old woman was on Friday allegedly killed by her husband inside her house in Ghaziabad's Modinagar.

According to reports Man is mentally challenged and choked wife inside house.

It is also said that after killing his wife, the husband went to the police station and confessed to the crime.

Police, however, said the woman's husband is changing his statements frequently.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Kavita Kumari (28), who was allegedly chocked by her husband while she was sleeping inside their house in Bhupendra Puri Colony.

"The accused husband, Krishan, came to the police station at around 5 am and stated that he chocked his wife to death while she was asleep. Later, the police reached the spot and found the woman's body on the bed. The body had finger marks on the neck," informed a senior police officer.

 

In yet another horrific incident, a class 5 student was allegedly molested by a class 11 student in the school bus in Ghaziabad's Vasundhara.

According to the reports, the accused juvenile has been arrested by Ghaziabad police on Sunday.

"A Class 11th student has been arrested on charges of molesting a class 5th student in school-bus in Ghaziabad's Vasundhara,".

The incidents of crime against women and students have increased in the past few years across the country.

Earlier, in November, a one and a half-year-old girl was allegedly molested by a thirty-three years old man in Aman Vihar locality of Delhi.

The whole incident came to light after counselling of the child was done in the hospital and police was informed.

Apart from these, the murder of 7-year-old Pradyuman Thakur has shaken the conscience of the entire nation. Pradyuman Thakur, a class II student, was found with his throat slit in the washroom of the Ryan International school in Bhondsi area on Sohna Road on September 8.

A Class 11 student who allegedly wanted to postpone a parent-teacher meeting and exams has been arrested in connection with the same.

 

 

 Ex MLA Amarpal Sharma finally surrendered before court in Bhartiya Janta Party's leader Gajendra Bhati murder. He was on run for month. 

On September 2 ,Bhati was shot dead in Ghaziabad's Khora area.In the case Sharma was booked for killing and ploting murder.According to police ex-MLA PSO Narendra Fauji at Amarpal behest in lieu of Rs 10 lakh killed BJP leader.

The police have announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for anyone helping to arrest ex-MLA leader Amarpal Sharma, an accused in the murder case of BJP worker Gajendra Bhati. The move comes after the expiry of three weeks' time given by Allahabad high court on September 20 for him to surrender.

The police had earlier arrested contract killer in the case Narender Fauji and Raju Pehelwan who had confessed to have gunned down Gajendra Bhati on September 2 at Sharma's behest in lieu of Rs 10 lakh. Within days after the killing, Fauji was arrested while Pehelwan, an international kabaddi player, was arrested by Delhi Police on September 21.
