Charge sheet filed against Yadav Singh; NKG Infrastructure also roped in

CBI has filed a charge sheet against suspended Noida Chief Engineer, Yadav Singh on Tuesday in connection with a corruption case involving crores of rupees. The charge sheet was filed also against his wife and 12 others including three companies.

CBI named NKG Infrastructure and its Managing Director Pradeep Garg in the charge sheet which also included the names of Project Engineer (PE) Ramendra Singh, APEs Devi Ram Arya and Jaipal Singh, JEs Rajeev Kumar, RD Sharma and Om Pal Singh, company Tirupati Constructions and its Managing Partner V K Goel, JSP Construction and its partner Pankaj Jain.

According to the charge sheet, Yadav Singh in December 2011approved work contracts worth Rs.92.02 crore for laying underground electrical cables at two locations in Noida to accused firms, JSP Constructions, NKG Infrastructure and Tirupati Constructions.

The former engineer gave contract worth Rs 34.77 to NKG Infrastructure without any tender formalities completion.

Singh was arrested last month i.e. on February 3.
