Fashion designer in Noida disappears mysteriously

After the abduction of Snapdeal employee Deepti Sarna, another missing case has come to the fore. A fashion designer in Noida went missing under mysterious circumstances, whose car was found abandoned 500 metres away from her home.

The victim has been identified as Shipra Malik, a resident of Sector-37, who runs a boutique. She left her home on Monday afternoon for Chandni Chowk and her last location was found to be Lajpat Nagar in South Delhi.

Shipra's mobile phone was found and the last number dialed was 100. Her family approached Noida police before contacting Lajpat Nagar police. The family then visited Lajpat Nagar but the cops in Lajpat Nagar did not entertain them and asked to contact Noida police.

The victim is married to a local builder, Chetan Malik, who filed a missing complaint with the Noida police. However, the family has yet not received any ransom call.

Chetan, while returning home from work, noticed her abandoned car near house. The car doors were ajar. Car keys were found on the car mat.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police Kiran S, the family has suspected an old landlord who will also be interrogated by the police. Further investigation on the case is underway.
