18 apartments robbed off in Gaur City housing society

Careless security arrangements were witnessed in Gaur City of Noida Extension on Tuesday as eighteen apartments of the housing society were ransacked between 12-2pm. The residents came to know about the incident after they returned home from work to fiund out that their jewellery and cash were all missing.

"I went to work as usual and came back to discover my apartment ransacked. All the gold which was in the house has been stolen", KK Saxena, resident of J 812 said.

"I left my house at 11.30am. I came back at 2.53pm after showing my mother to a doctor. I saw all three locks of the house broken. All jewellery and cash were stolen", Rohit, resident of F-438 said.

This incident raised concerns towards the security of the area. Residents are demanding intensive police protection as robberies like this will make living in Noida Extension unsafe.

Police investigation is underway in this case.
