CM Akhilesh to visit Agra today 

Agra: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday will be on a one day visit to the Taj city, when he will review the developmental works including his ambitious bi-cycle track work.

Besides the official busy schedule, Mr. Akhilesh, who is an avid football lover, would meet the top footballers of Delhi Dynamos team, led by Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos and is also scheduled to unveil the new jersey of the football club. 

Mr. Akhilesh will arrive at Kheria-airport in Agra this evening at 4:45 pm. Around 5 pm he would be visiting the ‘Taj Nature Walk' where he will unveil the new jersey of the "Delhi Dynamos" for the next season of Indian Super League. 

Akhilesh's love for the game is no secret and the state government has roped in the ISL team mentored by Carlos to help develop a world class football academy. Though official announcement is yet to be made, the Delhi Dynamo's focus would be on preparing a nursery for football champions by catching young talent and ensuring their exposure to international players.

Besides, unveiling of the team jersey, the international celebrities of football are also to meet chief minister. In today's function, it is expected that Mr. Akhilesh would made some major announcements for the club for UP.  

"A formal association will be forged between the Delhi-based club and the UP government," Prashant Agarwal, president of Delhi Dynamo said.

Around 6:45 in the evening, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister will leave for Lucknow. 

Elaborate security arrangements have been made by the UP police for the Chief Minister's visit.
