UP Board class 10th and 12th results to be declared today

Results of class 10th and 12th will be declared by the UP Board of Secondary Education today from its Allahabad headquarters.

The results can be checked at www.upmsp.nic.in and www.upresults.nic.in.

A total of 64.23 lakh examinees had registered for the examination, 34.98 lakh for high school (10th) and 29.24 lakh for intermediate (12th). In the state capital Lucknow, 57,874 students appeared for high school exam and 50,475 candidates took the intermediate exam.

This year, for a change, UP Board results are being declared ahead of ICSE and CBSE boards.

This year seven lakh less students appeared for the examination, leading to apprehensions of the country's largest examination Board losing its popularity.

Last year, the result was announced on May 25. Around 92 percent students had passed the class 12 examination. Class 10 result was also good.
