Moradabad: Medical student Vaibhav found dead in TMU hostel

There is an another shocking sad incident took place in Moradabad's TMU where the MBBS final year student Vaibhav found dead in the suspicious condition in boys hostel room no- 201.

A day before Vaibhav returned from his home and became the victim of this incident.

Vaibhav belonged to Delhi's Fatehpur. It is being reported that, this is not the first incident of its type. Earlier also TMU witnessed many deaths in the college campus.

Though, the parents put the allegation on college administration and said their son has been killed because of poison.

On the other side, on asking SSP said the investigation is on and comment anything just after getting  the postmortem report.

Moradabad businessman 'shocked' by electricity bill of Rs. 2032 crores

Moradabad: A Moradabad businessman, who was shocked to discover a electricity bill of Rs. 2032 crore, has alleged that the error has still not been corrected by the electricity department.

However, the officials in the electricity board said that there is a technical glitch in the generation of online bills.

Parag Mittal, who has received this stupendous bill, said that he has been shuttling to and fro the department but no one is ready to listen to his complaint.

He has made many rounds of the electricity board office but says the issue has not been resolved yet.

Mr. Mittal, a businessman in Moradabad, runs a flour mill in Katghar area of the city.

UP Police rest on beds as patient lies on floor in Moradabad

Moradabad: In a shocking sight, Uttar Pradesh police, who were guarding a mentally unstable patient in Moradabad district, caught sleeping on the bed meant for patient in the hospital.

Therefore leaving no other option for the patient then to lie on the floor as the cops enjoyed their sleep.

On the top of it, there was no sign of remorse on their face and they instead they questioned media for recording them in the cameras.

'Misbehaving' bahus get 20 lashes in public in Moradabad

An order of 20 lashes each to two women was given by a village panchayat in Moradabad after their mothers-in-law alleged that they refused to prepare a meal for them and wash their clothes.

The incident took place in Salawa village in Moradabad's Kanth tehsil after the mother-in-law allegedly complained to village elders that her daughters-in-law had not given her food or washed her clothes in the absence of her sons.

"The police are investigating the matter and the victims have been sent to Moradabad district hospital for examination", SP (rural) Prabal Pratap Singh said on Monday.

"We are talking to local residents and trying to confirm the fact that a panchayat had been called. If the panchayat was indeed called, we will take strict action."

25-year-old Nurse Abducted, Gang Raped in Uttar Pradesh

A 25-year-old nurse was allegedly abducted and gang raped by four persons near Pandit Nagla Bypass in Moradabad district, police.

The victim, a resident of Ganj area of Rampur was abducted by four persons on Sunday while she was buying vegetables and gang raped by the accused at an unknown place in Moradabad for three days as per the complaint by the kin of the nurse, SP Rampur, Sadhna Goswami said.    

The victim was found in an unconscious state near Pandit Nagla Bypass under Khatgher police station here yesterday, she said.  

The nurse is undergoing treatment and her medical reports are awaited, police said.      

The incident will be investigated upon expeditiously once the case is transferred to Rampur police, Goswami said.

The maternal uncle of the victim has alleged that two of the accused had harassed the nurse before and a case was filed regarding the matter at Gunj police station.
