Yogi Adityanath stirs controversy; compares Shah Rukh Khan with Hafiz Saeed

Stirring controversy again, BJP MP Yogi Adityanath today compared actor Shah Rukh Khan with 2008 Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed saying "there is no difference in language of film actor Shah Rukh Khan and terror mastermind Hafiz Saeed". He also said that Shah Rukh will be on streets if people don't watch his films.

This statement was made after BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya withdrew his tweets against the Bollywood actor. Vijayvargiya had tweeted saying the actor's soul was in Pakistan though he lived in India.

Following the controversy created by the political leaders' statements, Congress demanded an apology to the Bollywood star by prime minister Narendra Modi.
