Won’t tolerate conversions by Christian missionaries, says Yogi Adityanath

BJP MP from Gorakhpur Yogi Adityanath during his visit to Balrampur's Shakti Peetha Devipatan raised the issue of forced conversion of members belonging to Tharu tribe.

According to reports, the BJP MP has asked the local administration to deal strictly with conversion issue.

"These activities by Christian missionaries in the areas bordering Nepal won't be tolerated at any cost,"  Yogi Adityanath said.

Reportedly, Christian missionaries from Nepal are coming to Godni, Sadni and Semrahva villages to hold prayer sessions thereafter converting Hindus to Christians. At least, 150 have been converted to Christianity so far.
