BJP president Amit Shah to address rally in Varanasi today

National president of Bharatiya Janata Party, Amit Shah, will address a rally today in Varanasi.

The meeting will also mark formal joining of leaders like former Samajwadi Party local leader Anil Rajbhar in the BJP.

"BJP national president Amit shah will speak at a public meeting organised by local backward caste leader Anil Rajbhar", said Sanjay Bhardwaj, BJP's media incharge of Eastern UP region as well as of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's constituency.

Rajbhar, who has served as an Advisor to Planning Commission of Uttar Pradesh, holding the status of Minister of State during the Mulayam Singh Yadav government, will join the party tomorrow along with his supporters belonging to the backward castes in Poorvanchal region, he said.

The rally is being organised at the Cutting Memorial ground in the city and nearly more than 5,000-10,000 people especially from the backward classes and other castes are expected to attend.
