Lucknow: Bahujan samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visit to Union Minister Ramvilas Paswan's residence terming his visit a 'drama' to woo the dalit vote.

" The PM is just acting similar as Yuvraj ( Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi) by going to a dalit house and having Khicdi on the occassion of Makarsankranti," she said while addressing media in Lucknow.

Ms. Mayawati who has turned 59 today, said that dalit would only acknowledge those who work for their welfare and upliftment like the BSP.

"Giving fake promises like the PM has made in the past would not serve any purpose for the BJP,"she said.

Mayawati demanded a CBI investigation over the Unnao dead bodies incident where over 100 unclaimed dead bodies were found near Pariyar Ghat in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh.

"The recent revelation of more than 100 dead bodies found in Ganga in Unnao has infused fear among people, therefore we demand a CBI probe on the issue," said Mayawati on Thursday.

She also took on the Samajwadi Party alleging that it had failed to maintain the law and order situation in the state.

"Fifty-eight percent of people of Uttar Pradesh rejected the BJP. The party won with clear majority in the Lok Sabha polls, but they should also realize only
42% votes were in their favour, and 58% of the people rejected them in Uttar Pradesh," she said.

For the Delhi Assembly elections, Mayawati announced to contest on all 70 seats with hope for good results. The party has launched the campaign for the Delhi Assambly polls from today.

Apart from this, the BSP workers have dedicated party supremo's birthday as a 'Jan Kalyankari Diwas' ( public welfare day) to reconnect the party with the dalits and other backwards. Her birthday will be celebrated both in Lucknow and New Delhi and the party supporters have decided to cut 59 pound cake in all districts of 21 states across the country.
