CM Akhilesh Yadav flags off first batch of Haj pilgrims

On Wednesday morning, CM Akhilesh Yadav flagged off the flight of first batch of Haj pilgrims. The devotees of Haj takes the flight from Haj House in Sarojini Nagar at Lucknow.

Azam Khan is chairman of state Haj committee. He had earlier issued directives to ensure all facilities to the devotees.

Almost 600 devotees are in the first batch of Haj pilgrims.

'Our best wishes to all the Haj pilgrims. The government will provide them with every facility. We have requested the Haj pilgrims to pray for the country too' said Akhilesh Yadav.

Azam khan ensured that all the facilities have been provided to the Haj pilgrims.  In this year more than 1,10,000 Haj pilgrims from all over India will go to Makkah in Haj Yatra.
