Rajasthan: 27 IPS officers transferred in routine reshuffle

Jaipur: In a routine reshuffle, the Rajasthan government transferred 27 IPS officers in state's police department on late Monday night. 11 RPS officers, who were promoted to IPS rank, were also given new postings in the state.

The Rajasthan department of Personnel issued the transfer orders of a total of 38 officers late last night.

ADG Telecommunications Dalpat Singh was transferred to Rajasthan Human Rights Commission as ADG while IG Human Rights Commission Sunil Dutt was shifted to Telecommunications.

DIG Security Bipin Kumar Pandey would be DIG SOG Jaipur while DIG Armed Battalion Jaipur Surendra Kumar was made ADC to Governor.

Superintendents of Police in Jaipur Rural, Bikaner, Ajmer, Alwar, Kota Rural, Dausa, Baran, Bhilwara, Jaipur north, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Sawaimadhopur, Jodhpur west and Karauli districts were also transferred.

Pankaj Kumar Choudhary, Commandant 11th Battalion RAC New Delhi was transferred to Jaipur in state crime records bureau as SP while Dausa SP Anshuman Bhomia was transferred to Jaipur North as DCP.

Four of the 11 promoted IPS officers were made district SPs.
