With 23 IAS officers Rajasthan govt transfered 225 RAS officers including four collectors

On Friday, the Rajasthan government transferred 23 IAS officers, including four district collectors, and 225 Rajasthan Administrative Service officers in the state.

This reshuffle comes days before the appointment of new chief secretary in the state.

It is said that another list is also expected soon with major changes in the top bureaucracy.

A 1993 batch IAS officer, Sandeep Verma, Secretary Home, Civil Defence and Jail was shifted to Public Health Engineering and Ground Water Department as Secretary, while Bhaskar Atmaram Sawant, Secretary Finance (Budget) was shifted to the Department of Personnel as Secretary.

Among others, L N Soni, collector, Sikar, has been trasnferred as collector Bharatpur, while Matadeen Sharma will be the new Jaisalmer collector.

In the RAS list, major reshuffle has been made in the ranks of deputy commissioner level.
