Shahjahanpur: A shocking incident took place in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh.  A shopkeeper fired at the customer on the mid of the market area.

According to the sources, the matter belongs to Jallalabad town of the police station area. Praveen Kumar Chintu owns a grocery shop. 15 days back, Anuj Gupta's brother had purchased some grocery from Chintu's shop amounting to rupees 1360 and had paid 1000 rupees, leave the rest as balance.

According to the victim, to collect the balance money of rupees 360, Chintu along with his friends catched Anuj at Jallalabad chowraha and started abusing him. To which in return ,the victim objected and suddenly, Chintu shot the victim.

 The youth got severely injured and had been admitted to the district hospital. 

The people present in the market informed the police about the incident.The police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.


Shahjahanpur: The rainfall, thunder and storm experienced by the state last month, which created a havoc condition in different cities and put the lives of the people on hault. Water-logging, traffic jams, houses being collapsed and many people died. Recently, the major concern that the state going through, the rivers were flowing above the danger level, which generated the flooding like situation, alert have been raised by the government.

According to the sources, around one lakh 30 thousand cusec of water was released from Narora Barrage, this raised the danger of flooding in Shahjahanpur, UP. People residing near the river area were asked to migrate to other places. The villagers got panic as the water level rised above the danger point.

The DM and SP visited barefoot to the flood prone areas and examine the situation. 

Sources revealed that officers of various departments, including DM Amrit Tripathi and SP Singh Chinappa visited the Kalam and Paura, where they took stock of the situation. Due to no road, SP and DM had to walk barefoot.

Although the irrigation department has specially set up 36 Geo Tubes, which can be used at the time of flooding. All the revenue workers in Mirzapur and Kalan tehsil have been ordered to remain alert for 24 hours.

The District Magistrate suspended an accountant and a secretary on the negligence of work. According to the District Magistrate report, all the preparations are completed to deal with the flood.


Ghaziabad: Few days back, the multi-storey building collapsed in Musoorie area, Ghaziabad. In response to that Ghaziabad Development Authority(GDA) had started taking strict actions against illegal constructions, in the city.The GDA started the General Assembly's demarcation campaign against illegal construction on Wednesday. 

According to the sources, the campaign started to demolish the illegal or unauthorised constructed buildings in the area. On the first day of a four day campaign, 10 illegal constructed buildings were destroyed in 6 zones.

On the first day of campaign, GDA official V.K Singh said, the campaign proved successful. This campaign will continue till 4th August. After this, it will be resume again from August 13 to 31st. V.K singh further added that illegal construction will be completely demolished.

Sources revealed that the areas, where the demolition were to be carried out are, Masoorie, Kavinagar, Vijaynagar, Sahibabad, Indrapuram and loni.  In the first leg of campaign, GDA decided to demolished around 253 buildings in the city. The campaign will be followed till 4th August and will resume for 14 days from 13th of August till  the end of the month. Around 450 building were opted to be demolished in this two section drive in a month span.

Bulandshahr: A painfull incident took place in Bulandshahr city, UP. The minor got abducted by her uncle and his friend and gang-raped.

According to the sources, the case belongs to village of Anupshahr police station area.The girl lives in the village along with her family.The two accused abducted the girl and took her away from village and raped her repeatedly.

According to the victim, the alleged uncle, along with his friend abducted the minor and gang-raped her.  Later, the two alleged culprits spread kerosene on the victim and tried to burn her alive. The victim somehow saved herself and reached her house. She informed about the incident to her family.

Sources revealed that family members rushed towards the hospital and admitted the victim, her condition is still serious.

The victim's family lodged an FIR against the culprits, the police is investigating the matter and among one of the two accused(victim's uncle) got arrested, his companion is still being searched.

Senior officials of Bulandshahr police said that an FIR had been registered on the basis of the victim's complaint. Investigation is underway.


Uttar Pradesh: The rainfall and lightining struck in different districts of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, took a toll on 11 lives and 7 got injured. This raised the death toll to 106 in the state. Earlier around 97 people lost their lives, as recorded. Around 600 houses got damaged due to rain related incidents.

The Meteorological Department warned that districts of Khari, Farookhabad, Raebareli, Lucknow, Sultanpur, etc would continue to receive heavy rains and thundershowers.

According to the sources,two people were killed each in Farukhabad and Bahraich while one each in Kheri, Raebareli, Lucknow, Kanpur Dehat, Barabanki, Sitpaur, and Sultanpur. Due to the severe situation, over 80 cattle lost their lives.

CM Yogi had directed the senior officials of all the district to alert people, identife delipated buildings and get them vacated.The officials have been directed to provide immediate financial and medical assistance to people severely affected by the rain.

The rivers were flowing above the danger level, in Lakhimpur, Barabanki and Ayodhya.
