Uttarakhand police on Sunday urged the Kashmiri students studying in the state not to issue an inflammatory statement on the social media of the Pulwama terrorist attack. In which 40 CRPF personnel have been killed.

ADG said that a Kashmiri student who sent a message to his friends on Whatsapp while expressing joy at the terrorist attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama. A student named Kaiser Rashid was arrested late on Saturday night and sent to jail. A case has been registered against Rashid under Section 505 (2) of the IPC.

Director General of Police Ashok Kumar said that people are angry with the whole country over the Pulwama attack, and in Uttarakhand, the students of Jammu and Kashmir should not make inflammatory statements to fuel the fire. However, Kumar said that Kashmiri students have no cause for concern. Because the police is there to ensure their full security.
