Lakhimpur: Due to severe rain and storm Uttar Pradesh had came to standstill position and reeling a flood like situation. CM Yogi had made a visit to Lakhimpur Kheri and Gonda,took a stock of the situation on Saturday.

CM yogi had conducted an aerial survey of flooded area in Lakhimpur, whereas visited the Gonda district where more one lakh people have been affected due to the flood-like situation.

According to the schedule, In order to survey flood affected areas, firstly, CM Yogi reached at Sharada Nagar Barrage helipad at around 11.00 am and inspected the flood effected area, CM Yogi further reached Gonda at 12.00 pm and investigate the Elgin-Charasari dam. CM left from Gonda at 12.55 pm.

As per information,CM reached the flood affected area to inspect the situation and distributed the releif material among the people affected by the deluge in both the districts. CM also met with the flood afected people and assured them that his government is sensitive towards the problems faced by the people in flooded areas and instructions had been issued for the rehabilitation and releif operations. 

CM Yogi asked the authorities of both the districts to ensure prompt and effective relief to the people of the village hit by the flood. Assured, that there will not be any shortage of funds to deal with natural calamities such as floods.

In context to the Chief Minister Yogi's visit, tight security arrangements have been made in the district.
