Meerut: The case of non-entry of Dalit children in a government school took place in Meerut.The allegations made on the headmaster of Primary School that he refused to grant admission to the children of Dalit woman. District Basic Education Officer took immediate action and passed an order to enquire the whole incident.

According to the sources, the incident happened in Jagjivan Ram Colony, of Phalavana town. The victim, Sunita said that she went to the government primary school located at Pankhali Patti for the admission of her children.

According to the victim,the school Principle Rahisuddin told the lady that children belongs to Dalit family were not permitted to get admission in the school. 

Sunita got frustrated and returned home and informed about the incident to her family that the principle of the school refused to admit her children bacause they belong to Dalit family. Listening to this, there was a lot of resentment family members and people of the society.

The headmaster said that the allegation made by the woman was baseless and he fuether added that the woman was told that if she wanted to enroll children, then she should brought the children along with her. But,later, the woman brought 10-15 people along with her.  Principle clarified that this is a government school, where the children of all caste studies together.
