Harish Rawat inducted  Nav Prabhat and Rajendra Bhandari as ministers in U'khand

Senior Uttarakhand Congress legislators Navprabhat and Rajendra Bhandari were inducted as ministers in the Uttarakhand cabinet on Thursday.

Governor KK Paul administered oath to both the legislators.

Bhadari is a legislator from Badrinath constituency in Chamoli district while Navprabhat represents Vikasnagar constituency in Dehradun district.

Bhandari is seen as a strong Rajput face in the Garhwal hills. Navprabhat, a Brahmin, is son of former union minister Brahmdutt.

The strength of the Ministry is now 12 including Rawat.

Harish Rawat had recently been to Delhi to discuss Cabinet expansion with party chief Sonia Gandhi.
